For more than a decade, the Knollenberg Foundation has worked to encourage environmental  stewardship through its projects. The  foundation believes young people are stakeholders in a future which will face many environmental challenges.

About Ralph B. Knollenberg, III
Ralph B. Knollenberg, III, had a long career at the University of Louisville where he worked in the physics lab and taught astronomy. It was his keen interest in science and passion for astronomy that shaped a grounded position for the need to promote environmental stewardship and reverence for our own planet.
